With theatres closed across the country, Wilbee has kept the Bristol Improv Theatre’s performances going – livestreaming shows every weekend on Twitch.
Initially broadcasting from the theatre itself and now via video conferencing, we have provided the technical side of the streams – including animation, vision mixing and pre-recorded content.
Wilbee came into my school to film our annual dance showcase. The team were brilliant throughout the process, so professional and considerate of filming in a school setting. With a quick turnaround required, Wilbee produced a crowdfunding video for Yoyoka, a sustainable yoga mat manufacturer based in Germany. The campaign went on to smash their €30,000 target.

We were asked to film and edit a short social video show Bakehouse Factory’s ‘Esperanza the Magnificent Dancing Elephant’ being constructed overnight in Bristol’s Cabot Circus.
Wilbee worked with the University of Bristol to produce a film about the advances in the field of acoustofluidics that would be engaging to both academics and the wider public.

Wilbee worked with Clarks Village Outlet Shopping and Wincanton Racecourse to capture a day out for the three judges who’ll be judging outfits for Wincanton Ladies Day.
The project brief was for two videos, one that involved interview elements that crossed into capturing the day generally. The other was a shorter video for social media. Wilbee thoroughly enjoyed the challenge of condensing a fun experience of a whole day into a bite-sizeable story.

At the beautiful Kings Weston House, Wilbee filmed a music video for Berlin-based artist Georgie Fisher.
We were lucky to be able to film such a stunning artist, song and location capturing a live performance, at different angles to put together this music video which was shot, edited and released within 24 hours.
Wilbee worked with The Bristol Improv Theatre to create a short trailer for the show ‘Is It Improvised? Does It Matter?’
The required output for this was a short social media video. With only a minute to pitch the show to potential audiences, we focused on making it engaging with the use of sound bites from a survey, quick cuts and multiple locations. As comedy enthusiasts we were delighted to be able to help promote this experimental show in the run up to its opening.
Wilbee was commissioned to produce a series of one minute ‘How to’ videos for the Government’s ‘Year of Engineering’ scheme.
Utilising our broad skillset, Wilbee were able to take the reins with this project – ensuring that all elements from pre-production and learning the experiments exceeded our client’s expectations. As the primary audience for these films are parents and children, we aimed to make the videos fun and playful as well as informative. After the success of our first series of Halloween videos, we were commissioned again to produce another series for the Christmas season.
To celebrate the 200th Anniversary of Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein, Wilbee was asked to produce a short film for Talbot Heath School in Bournemouth.
The project brief asked that we showcased the school, involved the students and adhered to a theme of ‘other worldliness’ when filming the script. We had a blast on this one day shoot, and it was so rewarding seeing the girls discovering, learning and engaging with a film shoot, and our client was delighted with the results.
I was introduced to Wilbee films during my postgraduate studies, I have now worked with Ross & the team on several occasions. Each project has been completely different; a testament to their creativity and flexibility to create a innovative outcome. The team are patient, respectful and professional.
