Birmingham Institute of Forest Research

Birmingham University approached us to make a long form piece about their vital research at the Birmingham Institute of Forest Research (BIFOR), Free Air CO2 Enrichment (FACE).

We worked alongside Professor Alice Roberts to film interviews with PhD students and capture stunning shots of the forest from all angles, it was a stunning space and it was important for us to get a lot of coverage to show the breadth of the experiement. Working with Professor Roberts was a dream, she even allowed us to strap a camera to her as she was winched into the air to get her perspective on the incredible feat these students had undertaken, understanding the role of trees in processing C02 at levels expected in the next few decades.
